A new whale has emerged in the Shiba Inu ecosystem, who’s accumulated a massive amount of SHIB ahead of what seems to be an important week for the project.

  • Shiba Inu has attracted yet another whale in its ranks.
  • Data from the popular whale transaction tracking bot Whale Alert flagged the transfer on Aug. 13th.

  • The address accumulated close to 4.6 trillion SHIB, currently worth around $48 million.
  • This comes shortly after the ecosystem’s lead developer – Shytoshi Kusama – noted on Twitter that there are exclusive updates coming for LEASH.
  • LEASH is one of the three tokens from the Shiba Inu project.
  • The update to its utility is slated to be unveiled on Wednesday.
