CZ also predicted when there will be a DEX that will become bigger than Binance.

At times when crypto-focused companies are slashing headcounts and decreasing operating expenses, Binance plans to expand its members by up to 30%.

  • That’s according to the exchange CEO – Changpeng Zhao – who was speaking at a crypto-focused conference in St. Moritz.
  • CZ said that he hopes for Binance to expand its team by between 15% and 30%, saying that Binance is very profitable.
  • He also revealed that the company grew to about 8,000 members in 2022 from about 3,000 at the beginning of the year.
  • What’s also interesting, though, is that he predicted that there will be a decentralized exchange that’s bigger than Binance in 10 to 15 years.
  • He also said that they are constantly looking for ways to diversify and disrupt their business, realizing that what’s working now might now work in the future. He said they want to disrupt themselves, rather than “other people disrupting us.”
