Singapore-based fintech platform Cake DeFi has partnered with Razer Silver, a loyalty rewards program for gamers, to provide them with easy access to various crypto assets, including bitcoin (BTC) and ether (ETH).

Cake DeFi Partners Razer Silver

According to a press release shared with CryptoPotato, the multi-faceted deal will allow Razer Silver gamers to convert their Razer Silver into Cake DeFi vouchers, earn bonus Razer Silver, and enjoy other benefits.

Cake DeFi provides users access to decentralized financial services, allowing them to generate returns from their crypto and digital assets. The global partnership with Razer Silver, backed by Razer Inc., the world’s leading lifestyle brand for gamers, is supposed to encourage crypto education and increased adoption.

Lowering the Barrier to Entry

Cake DeFi will be listed and promoted on the Razer Silver website as part of the deal. Gamers on the platform can exchange their loyalty points (Razer Silver) for Cake DeFi vouchers, which gives them access to popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and more.

Speaking on the development, Cake DeFi’s CEO and co-founder, Julian Hosp, said:

“Through this collaboration, we have lowered the barrier to entry to the crypto ecosystem to provide Razer Silver gamers access to crypto assets on Cake DeFi in a seamless manner… we will also focus on providing crypto education and literacy, especially for newcomers to the industry.”

Cake DeFi is offering Razer gamers access to its yield-generating services to celebrate the partnership. To earn crypto rewards, they must register to the platform using the special promo code “RAZER.”

Cake DeFi Celebrates Third Anniversary

Last month, Cake DeFi celebrated its third anniversary. To celebrate the milestone, the company allocated $1 million to support DeFi development through Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.

In March, the Singapore-based firm dedicated $100 million in funding to its newly established venture arm, Cake DeFi Ventures. The investment division will use the fund to support and promote Web3 -focused projects and startups.
