Right around the corner, PBWS is the culmination of the Paris Blockchain Week, a seven-day event that defines the blockchain and digital asset-related trends in Europe.
With backing from the French Ministry for the Economy and Finance and the State Secretariat for the Digital Affairs, the summit is expected to gather over 3,000 attendees and about 100 speakers.
PBWS will focus on topics like regulation within France and the EU, decentralized exchanges, security tokens, stablecoins, DLT consensus mechanisms, recent trends in the blockchain space, and the advancements of DLT and digital assets in France and beyond it.
Bruno Le Maire, the current Minister of the Economy and Finance, will be the leading figure of the list of VIP guests. Other key political leaders to perform at the summit are Mounir Mahjoubi, Secretary of State for Digital Affairs, Eva Kaili, Member of the European Parliament, and Kat Borlongan, Director of La French Tech. Besides, the list of speakers will include top executives from companies including Binance, R3, IOTA, Tezos, SWIFT, and Ledger.
The main organizers of PBWS, which will be held in Station F, are the French Digital Asset Association Woorton, Chain Accelerator, Datalents, and Havas Blockchain.
Consensus is another blockchain and cryptocurrency event that will be in the spotlight this year. Organized by news site operator CoinDesk, Consensus is already a tradition, with the first conference held in 2015.
This year, participants will touch upon the state of the blockchain, the future of money, Web 3, Zero Knowledge, stablecoins, and security tokens among others.
The list of speakers includes Yoni Assia, CEO and co-founder of eToro, Amber Baldet, co-founder and CEO of Clovyr, Lydia Beyoud of Bloomberg Law, Tim Byun, CEO of OKCoin, Charles Cascarilla, co-founder and CEO of Paxos, Danqing Hu of Ant Financial, David Schwartz of Ripple, and many more.
Malta has become one of the countries that help blockchain and cryptocurrency go mainstream, including by setting up a legal framework to address the development of these emerging industries.
Last year, the Malta AI & Blockchain Summit was a big success, with over 8,500 attendees and VIP guests like John McAfee, Winklevoss brothers, and Scott Stornetta.
