Trezor users have shared issues with accessing their ETH on Myetherwallet popular Ethereum ERC-20 wallet. Other coins are currently accessible through Trezor. However, ETH remains inaccessible, and there are no ETH addresses listed where the user is asked to select an address to unlock. Instead of the usual process, there is also a pop-up reffering to Trezor’s website, right before the box of addresses opens up.

The following error message appears when trying pressing the Unlock button: “TypeError: The first argument must be one of type string, Buffer, ArrayBuffer, Array, or Array-like Object. Received type undefined”. And, as mentioned, there is no access to the ETH wallet and ERC20 tokens.

MEW Trezor Access with No Addresses. Srouce: CryptoPotato

Satoshi Labs, Trezor’s manufacturer, insists that the problem is on MyEtherWallet’s side. A report has already been filed on MEW’s GitHub.

As of writing this, we had no response from MyEtherWallet regarding the issue. In their recent Tweet from yesterday, MEW recommends clearing cache. This has to do nothing with the new Trezor access problem. Users have no access despite clearing cache and updating Trezor’s firmware to the latest version.

So far, no users have reported any loss of funds, just an inability to access their ETH. Users can try accessing their fund through MyCrypto wallet. The situation is still being resolved at this time, so it remains to be seen how severe or widespread the issue is.

For the concerned users we would recommend to follow up on the above Trezor’s Reddit thread.

UPDATE: MyEtherWallet team is aware of the problem and are working on it, as replayed to CryptoPotato.
