Bondly Finance announced their partnership with American podcaster and YouTuber, Logan Paul in a deal that will see them create and distribute NFTs for his 'Pokemon Box Break'.

It appears the NFT hype has reached Logan Paul, the owner of one of the world’s biggest YouTube accounts. The celebrity teamed up with Bondly Finance to release a non-fungible token.

Logan Paul Purchases Highly Prized Pokemon Cards

Logan Paul took to his Twitter account to announce his purchase of over two decades old ‘Pokemon 1st Edition Booster Packs’ worth $2 million. He intends to auction all 36 packs between February 4th to 11th.

“Mission accomplished. Took 3 months and $2,000,000 to collect these 1st Edition Pokémon Boxes.” He wrote on Instagram.

The ‘Impaulsive’ podcaster will be joined by Goldin Auctions founder Ken Goldin to unbox them on a Youtube live stream scheduled for February 27th before sending the package out to the winners.

“I am thrilled to partner with Goldin for the biggest Pokémon unboxing ever. This is a newfound obsession of mine and I am so excited to share it with other enthusiasts around the world,” Logan said in a press release.

What’s Better Than One Collectible? Two!

Logan Paul seems to be hungry for new exploits after his highly anticipated fight with Floyd Mayweather was postponed until the 20th of February. It appears he has found one, as Bondly Finance reported their collaboration with the YouTuber today.

Bondly Finance announced that they will oversee the creation and distribution of 1 of 44 Logan Paul Holographic NFTs (Non-fungible tokens) that will be given to auction winners along with their Pokemon cards. They will also present non-winners the opportunity to purchase Logan Paul limited edition NFTs on Logan’s custom store.

Bondly Fnance emphasized the potentials of NFTs and hinted at the possibility of future collaborations with Logan in the released article.

“It’s evident that NFTs are here to stay, especially as more mainstream influencers, artists, celebrities, and more become interested in the potential this technology holds. At Bondly, we are determined to bridge the educational gap around NFTs. Our goal is to usher in the next 1,000,000 NFT holders. This is only the beginning. We will continue to work with Logan Paul and other partners to build NFT solutions.”

Just like the highly valued Pokemon boxes, non-fungible tokens are unique, non-interchangeable tokens. These distinct features make them ideal for crypto gaming, rare art, and other use cases that require unique digital assets.
