The actress who played Arya Stark on Game of Thrones asked if she should go long on Bitcoin. The community, led by Justin Sun, Mike Novogratz, and Barry Silbert, responded.

Maisie Williams, the actress portraying Arya Stark in the Game of Thrones TV series, asked her 2.7 million followers if she should “go long on Bitcoin.” Apart from thousands of responses she received from the community, Barry Silbert, Mike Novogratz, and even Elon Musk weighed in as well.

Arya Stark Looks To Buy Bitcoin?

Born in 1997, Margaret (Maisie) Williams in an English actress that made her professional debut in 2011 as Arya Stark in the HBO medieval fantasy drama – Game of Thrones. The TV series became a global phenomenon in the next decade, which helped skyrocket the actors’ fame.

The ever so vocal community has not stayed quiet. At the time of this writing, nearly 800,000 people have taken the chance to place their votes. However, the percentage of naysayers is currently beating the pro-Bitcoin votes, with 54% against 46%.

Nevertheless, the poll will end in about 10 hours, so there’s still a chance for a late comeback.

Novogratz, Silbert, Sun, and Musk Respond

As it happened several months ago when the author of the Harry Potter books J.K. Rowling asked Twitter to explain Bitcoin to her, numerous famous individuals rushed to offer their views on the matter.

TRON’s Justin Sun said, “Yes! It is time to FOMO!” Galaxy Digital founder and CEO Mike Novogratz was also positive with his answer.

He even said that he bought more BTC last night at $15,800. He predicted that BTC will go to $20,000 and then to $65,000. Novogratz also noted the emergence of “tons of new buyers” and highlighted Bitcoin’s limited supply of 21 million coins ever to exist.

Other community members took the opportunity to promote their services. Barry Silbert, the CEO of Grayscale’s parent company Digital Currency Group, advised her to check out Grayscale.

The official account of the Winklevoss-founded cryptocurrency exchange Gemini was slightly more subtle at first and used some Game of Thrones references: “Crypto winter is NOT coming. Check out Gemini if you want to stark some sats!”

Tesla’s Elon Musk, though, seemed to have confused the TV series. He said, “toss a Bitcoin to ur Witcher.” Although The Witcher is also a fantasy drama with several similarities with Game of Thrones, it’s actually an entirely different production.
