Binance and Crypto.com Auditor Mazars Group Pauses Work with Crypto Clients

Mazars Group will not be working with crypto businesses for the time being, a spokesperson from Binance said.

The company that audited both Binance and Crypto.com – Mazars group – will be pausing its work with cryptocurrency businesses.

  • In a statement reported by Bloomberg, a spokesperson from Binance said:

“Mazars has indicated that they will temporarily pause their work with all of their crypto clients globally, which include Crypto, com, KuCoin, and Binance. Unfortunately, this means that we will not be able to work with Mazars for the moment.”

  • This is in line with what CZ said in yesterday’s interview for CNBC’s SquawkBox, when he outlined that a lot of auditing firms are somewhat reluctant to work with cryptocurrency businesses.
  • He also said that a lot of them are not able to produce accurate and competent reports for blockchain firms.
